Our New Office Manager
Everyone calling now will be greeted by Kylie, who has been my loving wife for some time, and is now also my new Office Manager. Make sure you say hello!

Selling online? Try Oztion instead
I’ve totally had it with eBay; They insist on forcing sellers to accept PayPal payments, they hike their fees to unreasonable levels and they do nothing to curb the huge increase in scammers targeting their customers.
So today I am listing a few old items I need to get rid of, and I’m doing it on Oztion.com.au; These guys have FREE LISTINGS, offer a variety of ways for sellers to prove they are who they say they are, and generally appear much friendlier and easier to get on with.
So next time you are shopping online, or selling online, give this Aussie outfit a go!

All you iPhone users had best fire up iTunes and download the latest firmware, now version 2.2.1
Nothing too exciting, but apparently fixes a few bugs and makes the phone just that little bit more reliable.
Cordless Recharging Promised
Two companies at the Consumer Electronics Show in the US are showing technologies that allow you to charge devices like phones, torches, iPods and the like just by placing them on a special surface.
Both Powermat and Fulton Innovation are demonstrating their magnetic induction technologies. Powermat’s solution invovles custom cases you put on your device before placing it on the charging surface. The device figures out what level of charge is required and delivers it to the device.
These technologies won’t take off until device makers build the receivers into their devices, but it’s good to see some innovation here being shown.
Online Advertising
I just saw this advertising on Facebook;
Clearly, your online advertising needs to be put together by someone who knows how to market, and not someone who thinks people will sign up to test poison!!!
Governments stepping on our electronic rights.
Most Australians are pretty upset with the Federal Labor Governments plan to censor our internet access. Almost 100,000 Australians have joined one online campaign to stop our government from imposing China style regulations on our communications.
Word from the UK now that their government has decided to go even further; They are going to actively hack into their citizens computers, and not even require a warrant to do so!
One can only hope that in all countries where governments are infringing on the rights of its citizens, those citizens stand up and refuse to allow these sorts of transgressions to occur.
Aussie Post doing great things.
We just got another letter returned to sender; It happens from time to time, as clients move house and forget to let us know. No big deal, except the letter we got back today, was mailed to the client late in November, of 2007 !!
