eBay make more blunders
I honestly wonder how much longer eBay can survive; Overnight, eBay emailed thousands of customers, telling them they were giving them a 10% discount voucher. The problem was, they are NOT giving anyone a discount on anything, and the email body doesn’t mention the discount.
6 hours later, they sent out another email with a correction, stating that the problem was a “technical error”. That’s obviously rubbish, and the fact that the word “sorry” or “apologise” doesn’t appear anywhere in the email further indicates eBay’s complete lack of customer service focus.
eBay are either going to go broke or they are going to have to get some management who understand how to look after their customers better!

I can see why peopel dislike ebay and all but this very small incident wasn’t that much of a big deal. When you think about it, how on earth are you meant to get a 10% discount on ebay? They don’t run every auction / item for sale on there so they couldn’t possible / wouldn’t pay 10% of a sale for every person on ebay.
