Queensland fraudster in bankruptcy proceedings
Word today that Gav’s Mobile Computer Services has been put into bankruptcy by Microsoft after the software maker proved that the business was selling illegal copies of Microsoft Office.
When Mr Richardson, the principle, failed to pay damages awarded by the courts of $31,383, Microsoft was successful in proving that he had committed an act of bankruptcy.
You can be assured that any software supplied to you by Shift Computer Solutions is 100% legal and sourced through proper approved channels. This guarantees you our ongoing support, as we won’t be bankrupted due to illegal behaviour.

You raise an excellent point; We should link to the source material. Here it is;
download.microsoft.com/documents/australia/genuine/AP00000007_Infringement_alert_v3.pdf
Your mention is on page 2. Please feel free to comment further, as if you are saying the story is false, then Microsoft itself is the one in trouble, and that is an even bigger story.

So nice to see people with such a firm command of grammar, punctuation and the English language posting comments. Maybe it could be a tenable defense in court, if he can demonstrate his inability to understand the copyright information accompanying the software?
