eBay decline starts June 17
June 17, that’s the day that eBay has set for forcing every eBay transaction to be paid for using their wholly owned subsidiary Pay Pal.
This follows from their moves a few months ago to make it next to impossible for users to find sellers bank details, a move that caused a storm of arguments between sellers and buyers, all of whom ended up frustrated that a system that had served them well had been completely destroyed by eBay management.
This latest move by eBay is clearly their most bone headed to date, and my tip is that local auction sites such as oztion.com.au need only get the word out, and eBay, at least in Australia, is toast.
