Ask Eraser – Protect your Privacy

I just heard that ask.com has rolled out a great new feature called Ask Eraser. What this does is stop your searches from being recorded on Ask’s servers, so there is no possibility of your search history ever being brought to light, because it simply won’t exist.

Some time back there was an outcry after a large chunk of search data was made public, and reporters were able to figure out who the people who were doing the searches were, and even tracked a few of them down and interviewed them.

I think this is another good reason to give ask.com a try. It is an excellent search engine.
