Nintendo pulls Wii advertising
Demand is so strong for Nintendo’s Wii gaming console that it has started pulling scheduled advertising for the console in the lead up to Christmas, saying that demand is already outstripping supply.
Nintendo are currently manufacturing 1.8 Million units per month, and there have been calls for them to further increase production, but industry experts suggest Nintendo would rather keep a steady production going as demand will eventually taper off, which would leave them with wasted capacity.
