Asus W7J – One Great Laptop!
I’ve just bought myself a new laptop, the Asus W7J. I decided to get the white one for something a little different, and its certainly easier to see they keys when I am sitting in a dark room writing that last email.
It sports the super fast Intel Core 2 Duo T2700 CPU, comes standard with 1 Gig of RAM, 120 Gig Hard Drive and all the usual mod cons. I especially like the bluetooth; I use that to sync my Motorola K1 phone wirelessly. (I had to buy some after market software for that, the stuff that comes with Motorola phones is terrible). I just click a button and my phone is updated.
The W7J is also smaller and lighter than my old laptop. It has a 13.3″ screen, which is plenty big enough, but having a smaller than standard display means the entire laptop can be much smaller, while still packing in all the usual features like a DVD Writer. At only 1.95kg, it slips easily into the carry bag I picked up from K-Mart. Its also a lot nicer sitting on your lap than the heavier sort.
